Artist Statement

My art does not attempt to reproduce the real world. It suggests a new look at the world by revealing and concealing lines, reflections and color, allowing one to view a piece with a fresh eye. Art can evoke thought, spark the imagination, motivate creativity and simply make someone smile. As an artist, I am inspired by everything from massive architecture to delicate flowers. My objective is to capture these items and bring them into a new light in the hopes of stirring emotion and conversation.”
